This year has been absolutely incredible! I cannot believe it's been an entire year since I launched A Nerd in Pearls... From going to like 30 Instagram followers to almost 4,000 and quadrupling the amount of blog views I get a month, blows my mind. I couldn't have done this without the support of my family and my awesome friends! They all love my blog and read it on a regular basis. Also thank you to everyone else who reads avidly... I love you all!! I cannot wait to see where this year takes me (psst... It might be California) and I am excited for all of you to read along. This truly is my creative outlet and I thank God every day for allowing him to let me live out and explore both parts of my personality... WHY? Probably because we had already planned on it and when we put our minds to something and already have outfits planned for a situation... it is usually hard to deter us (I just had to add an extra jacket to the situation)!
We had a blast at the parks and of course Harry Potter World is always incredible! My outfit was super warm considering I wore two jackets, a sweater and a scarf.

I am so obsessed with wrap flats recently and these babies stole my heart the minute I laid eyes on them! I also cannot get over the fact that I only paid $10 for them... Like woah. They are the perfect POP to any simple outfit and the amount of compliments I got when I wore them was astounding!

Ahhh finals are over! It is weird to not have anything but work to worry about but at least it means that I can enjoy little things like the cold weather and brunch on a Saturday. Also, I feel like I have seen this scarf all over Instagram but for good reason... it is adorable!
