Summers can be brutally hot in Florida... so it makes complete sense when businesses and shops keep their air conditioning blasting. That is why it is so important to layer. I found this t-shirt dress the other day in target and even though it was solely a grocery trip I had to buy it (I am trying to save money... operative word is "trying"). T-shirt dresses are simply wonderful. They are chic, simple, and you don't have to wear pants.
I wore this outfit to see Jurassic World... I felt the army green jacket and hat were appropriate for the situation LOL. SHOP THE LOOK t-shirt dress: Target | army jacket: Forever 21 | hat: Forever 21 | gladiator sandals: old, find similar HERE

I Have been so excited to share with you all the outfits I wore while in Michigan! I had to travel up there because of my cousins wedding. The ceremony and venue were both gorgeous and it was incredible to see two people who couldn't love each other more tie the knot. This blue dress I wore was such a touch of the 50s mixed with the 21st century! The best part about it was that it was under $50. Go ahead... Guess how much it cost exactly... (Hint: it was more than $19 and less than $21)
You're thinking, no way was that dress $20. I thought the same! I received a ton of compliments on it and I referred several people to the Sheinside (now Shein) website... Frankly they should give me a retainer for how many people I encourage to shop there! Haha if only! The light blue tie dye romper I have on in the later pictures is from this cute boutique called Forema! I'm obsessed with their clothing and I'm sure I will blog about them again in the future. This romper is so light and airy it was the perfect thing to throw on to hang out with family on a dreary day at Lake Michigan. SHOP THE LOOK blue dress: Shein | heels: Christian Louboutin tie dye romper: Forema (similar at Neiman Marcus) I decided to take my very first trip to Charleston A few weekends ago! I went thankfully before the recent/horrific church shooting. My prayers go out to the families and friends of those who lost someone that day and to the town of Charleston. It has such an interesting historical background and such fun shops and markets. Of course you all know how I love to shop so it isn't surprising when I tell you we ended up spending a whole afternoon on Kings St shopping our hearts out. The food was incredible and so was the scenery and I even met Bill Murray at a Charleston Riverdogs baseball game!! This is definitely a town I will visit again!

I am a college student in engineering and I love it, but my real passion is fashion. I am obsessed with all things neutral, all black clothing, expensive hand bags, and shoes with red bottoms.
