Derby Day

School is out for the summer and I am so excited to only have one semester left until I graduate! These past two weeks were so filled with school, finals and work that I didn't even have time to do laundry or work out. I finally got my life back together though!! And FINALLY went shopping... I was legitimately having withdrawals (who feels me?)

This was also the first weekend I've gotten to come home to my parents and spend time with them... Just in time for Mothers Day and The Kentucky Derby! Even though I didn't get to physically be at Churchill Downs this year, I was there in spirit and attire lol. My niece wanted to go pick sunflowers and me and my sister (her mom and also fellow blogger) thought it would be a perfect blog opportunity. Little did we know that we would have to fight off bees, spiders, cockroaches and ants all for some pictures! I am not kidding all of the above either landed on me, bit me or crawled on me. #YUCK

All in all though we got some pretty great photos and survived! Even though our mom was laughing at us the whole time with how prissy we were being... And yes I will admit to it now as I write this from the comfort of my couch which is indoors which is also void of bugs.
